Every time we recite the Nicene Creed at church I ponder the words light of light.
There are other great sentences and phrases in the Creed, but this one struck me recently.
So I began consciously looking around for some of that light in my life....
Sometimes I'm standing smack in the middle of it.
It has halo-bestowing powers.
A shaft of it in the morning will make me smile as I stumble to the tea pot.
And at the end of the day, recalling the ways my life is changed & brightened with that light, I can rest easy.

Simply beautiful.
beautiful...i concur. (love the images with your words, too!)
i'm completely with you in this love of light (and of the Author of all things luminescent).
lovely post.
Very nice.
I too am a lover of light.
Beautiful words and photos. As a wanna-be-photographer, I find myself always looking at the light, and when the light gets so deliciously perfect, I cannot help myself and go get my camera out. We would be lost without light and the Light giver.
Thanks and have a beautiful day!
and, it is such a joy to be aware of the light! His light is shining through you, Liberty. Beautiful!
Love,
Gail
