Lesson Learned

I guess I should put away the Easter baskets sooner.

Em and Lib said...: I vacuumed up the last hidden pine needle from Christmas 5 days before Easter. It's our cycle. Easter Grass totally gone shortly before Christmas and needles from the tree gone right before Easter. We Know:

Snow days are a LOT of work!
A weekend at the grandparent's makes everybody's heart grow fonder!
If you call something a "cookie" they are more likely to think they're getting a treat. Even if it's a healthy concoction.
If you leave the cereal, bowl and cup out the night before, you might get to sleep 10 extra minutes in the AM.
If you wash a Pampers diaper in the washing machine, it quadruples in size.
The laundry will never be finished.
Cowboy boots are essential!
Boys love their Mammas.
Newborns become 4th graders.
Even if they have their own, boys end up sleeping in one room.
Kids who only eat grilled cheese and PB&J's still grow.
One extracurricular activity at a time can be plenty.
A child's ear could look fine at 9AM, but be infected by Noon.
A few "extra" non-iron Gummy Bear Vitamins is non-life-threatening.
