me make REAL lemonade. That's what I get for attempting such an "alpha
mom" activity. After a phone consult with my First Responder partner, Lib, I opted
for a butterfly bandage over stitches.
Monday - Reluctant swim student, coincidentally also Number 3, took in
a little too much water between sobs and threw up in the swim
teacher's pool. "Happens all the time," she assured me. Yeah right!!!
Today - Numbers 1-4 were playing a game of "horsie" with a cowboy rope
(yes, we brought it to them as a gift from Texas). Didn't see EXACTLY
what happened, but it ended with a wall and a bloody nose for Number
3 See the pattern here?
To wrap up the evening and odyssey of blood, guts and tears, Number 2
threw up in the O'Charley's ladies room tonight after dinner with his
aunt and grandmother.
It is never dull. Never predictable. But always real.
Another day, another story,
Em
